Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins
• Implement and configure Zendesk to streamline customer support workflows
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to build responsive and visually appealing web pages
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, including speed and mobile optimization
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress and Zendesk
• Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks
• Optimize SEO performance to drive traffic and improve rankings
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics
• Stay updated on web development, WordPress, and Zendesk trends and technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience developing WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience configuring Zendesk and customizing workflows
• Familiar with web hosting, domain management, and SSL setup
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
